TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATIONS POLICY

Valley Threads/The Stitchery has a clear cancellation policy to ensure we cover our costs and the ongoing viability of the workshops

We ask you to check your diary before you book a class to ensure you can attend all class/workshop sessions

STUDIO POLICY:

  • Workshops are restricted to 6 students per class

  • Minimum age to attend a class is 16 years old for adults classes, 8 years old for children’s classes

  • Please ensure you arrive ready to start the session by the published start time

  • If you are late, it may not be possible for you to participate in the session due to the tutor having to go over what you have missed, making this unfair to the other students in the class

  • You release the use of any images/photos taken during the workshops/classes and are happy for them to be used on the Valley Threads/The Stitchery website and/or social media pages

    CLASS BOOKINGS:

  • Spaces in workshops/classes are limited, therefore full payment is required to reserve your spot in the class

  • Payment methods will be emailed with instructions on how to do this

  • Bookings can be made up to 48hr before workshop/class start

  • Again, please ensure you consult your diary prior to booking to make sure you can attend all the sessions on the dates stated

    STUDENT CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • By registering and paying for a class you have agreed to the terms and conditions in this policy.

  • All our classes are non-refundable, so if you have a change in circumstance or something pops up and you cannot attend the workshop you have booked the following applies:

    More than 1 weeks notice one of the following will apply (your choice):

  • We will provide a full refund

  • We would be happy to transfer you to a class on another date - space permitting. If there is no future dates for you to transfer, we would be happy to provide you with a voucher to a future workshop

  • If you know someone who would like to take your space - we would welcome them, please note, it is your responsibility to find a replacement person (at the skill level suitable for the class) and tell us in advance who will be attending

    Less than 1 weeks notice one of the following will apply :

  • If the class is fully booked and your space can be filled by someone on a waiting list, you will receive a full refund

  • If the class is not full, and there is no waiting list, then the fee is non-refundable

  • If you know someone who would like to take your space - we would welcome them, please note, it is your responsibility to find a replacement person (at the skill level suitable for the class) and tell us in advance who will be attending

  • Students who do not turn up for sessions booked will not receive a refund for the sessions they have missed

    THE STITCHERY - IF WE CANCEL A CLASS

  • Our workshops require a minimum number of people to run, if we choose to cancel a class due to low numbers you will be notified at least 48 hours before the workshop is due to start and you will be offered a full refund or a credit towards a future class - this credit will be valid for 12 months

  • In the event of the tutor cancelling the workshop/class/session due to illness, you will be offered a make up workshop/class/session or full refund (if an entire workshop/class affected).

    SCHOOL HOLIDAY CLASSES

  • Classes need a minimum of 3 students to run

  • If the class does not get a minimum of 3 students to run you will be offred a place in another class or the class will be cancelled and you will get a full refund.
