The Stitchery Sewing School

Welcome to The Stitchery, a sunny sewing studio in Ferrymead Christchurch where you can come to learn how to sew, from the complete beginner to advanced techniques.

The Stitchery is a supportive environment for the community to come together to learn and grow.

All you need to provide is a willingness to learn (and some fabric)- all the tools to create stunning garments are provided, including wonderful Janome plain sewing machines, overlockers and a coverstitching machine.

I have dreamed for years about owning a small sewing studio to sew exciting new projects for myself and also teach people the joy of sewing for themselves, creating a wearable garment from a piece of fabric that fits their bodies. The Stitchery is that studio.
