Project Three:
Elasticated Skirt
For the last 2 weeks of our class, we make an elasticated skirt. For this project you get to go and choose and buy your fabric for your skirt, as going fabric shopping is one of the more exciting parts of sewing - right? We will then cut out the skirts and start sewing them, again using the skills used in the past two weeks of classes, but we also get to add some new techniques, making an elastic drawcord for the elastic to go into and hemming our skirts. If we have any time left over we will make a matching scrunchie.
Any boys who would like to join us are most welcome and we can swap the skirt for a pair of elasticated shorts.
